iOS App

Pair with your computer, start a session, and switch relay servers.

Pair with Your Computer

  1. Download Btelo Coding from the App Store.
  2. On the computer you want to control, open its pairing QR code:
    • Desktop app (Mac / Windows) — open the Connect panel.
    • CLI agent (Linux / headless) — the QR code shows on the Dashboard tab.
  3. In the iOS app, tap + (Add Connector) and scan the QR code to pair.

Once paired, the app reconnects automatically on future launches. If you reset the connector on the agent, re-pair by scanning the new QR code.

Connection failed? The QR code expires after a short time. Refresh it — reopen the Connect panel in the desktop app, or press r in the CLI TUI — then scan again. This also applies when connecting via URL link.

Start a Session

Go to the Sessions tab, tap +, and type a message. The AI executes on your machine and streams results back in real time.

Sessions are grouped by working directory. You can run multiple sessions in parallel.

Switch Relay Server

By default, the app connects through the public relay at coding.btelo.com. To use a different relay (LAN or self-hosted), change it on the agent:

  • Desktop app — open Settings → Relay and pick the relay.
  • CLI agent — press w (Switch Relay) and select the new relay.

After the relay switches, refresh the pairing QR code and re-scan it in the iOS app to reconnect through the new relay.

See the Relay Server page for setup instructions.
