What Is Multi-Device Access?

Multi-Device Access lets you control your computer from any of your devices through Vibe Remote. Your iPhone, iPad, Mac — they all connect to the same agent, share sessions, and sync seamlessly. No extra server, no complicated setup.

Why Multi-Device Access Exists

Your development workflow shouldn't be tied to a single screen. You might start debugging on your Mac, check progress from your iPhone while away from your desk, or review AI output on your iPad on the couch. Multi-Device Access makes this natural — one agent, accessible from every device you own.

All your sessions, history, and progress are always in sync. Pick up exactly where you left off, on any screen.

Install the Vibe Remote app on each device and log in with the same account. Once connected, all your devices see the same sessions, history, and settings.

Seamless Sync

All devices logged in with the same account share everything:

• Sessions — start a task on your iPhone, pick it up on your iPad, review results on your Mac
• History — your conversation history is always available on every device
• Settings — preferences sync across all your devices automatically

The Sessions tab shows all sessions. Switch between devices anytime without losing context.

Quick Start

On the machine (one-time setup):

vibe-remote
# Press 'c' to set connector name and password

On each of your devices:

1. Install Vibe Remote from the App Store
2. The agent TUI displays a Connect QR code on the Dashboard — scan it in the iOS app to pair
3. Log in with the same account on each device
4. All your sessions and history sync automatically

That's it. Your workflow now follows you across every screen.

Sharing with Collaborators

Want to give a trusted colleague access? The admin can generate a one-time invite code. Share it with your collaborator, and they can connect their devices to your agent too.

Tips

• Same account = seamless sync — use the same account on all your devices
• Use passkeys if you want to protect your identity across devices
• One agent, one machine — Multi-Device Access is about accessing a single computer from anywhere, not managing a fleet
• Invite collaborators — share a one-time invite code when you want to give someone else access
